Well, at least I'm consistent

You scored as Christianity. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian.
Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins.

Dyeing Yarn

So, I've been looking for a lime green wool yarn to make a felted tote, but haven't found one I liked. So tonite I dyed my own. Using LB's fisherman's wool and Lemon-Lime Kool-Aid. I think it turned out pretty good. My fingernails are a nasty moldish color, which I'm hoping will go away by tomorrow. It's hanging in the spare bathroom drying right now. I have a few more inches left on the hood of my sweater before it's done. I think I'm procrastinating b/c I'm scared of sewing in the zipper. I haven't decided whether or not to use a sewing machine or stitch it by hand. Anyways, I'm really happy with the way the yarn dyeing turned out. There are a couple bare spots, but hopefully that will give it a little bit of a cool variagated effect. I think I'll double strand it--I want a nice sturdy fabric. Especially since I haul around so much CRAP in my purse.

The MIL just had brain surgery and now has a big strip of baldness across the back of her head, stretching from ear to ear. She wants me to knit something to cover it. I have NO idea what to do.

Can't wait to start knitting with my new green yarn!

My sweater

I am SO impressed with myself, you have no idea. I finished all the pieces to my sweater this week. I blocked them (successfully!) and seamed them together Wednesday night. I was sooooo nervous that my seams would look crappy, but they actually look pretty good! So last night I sat pondering how I was going to work across all the stitches on holders and couldn't figure it out. I don't know if I did it right or not, but I managed to do it. So now I'm working on the hood. With my brand new Denise's! I think I'm getting smaller gauge than the rest of the thing, but it's just the hood. The best part about it, is that it actually fits!!! It's something I would actually wear in public!! I brought it to work today to show the girls--they were impressed.

I can't decide on my next project. It's getting warmer so I don't want to make heavy things, but it still does get chilly at nights here. But I can't wear tanks or halters so that's out of the question. Maybe a bathing suit or something?? Would that be too weird?

I'm out to get some Fisherman's Wool today during my lunch break. I have some lemon-lime Kool-Aid just dying (dyeing!) to be used. I think I shall make the Lopi Tote from Helloyarn.com. A girl can never have enough bags!!!

Hooray for physiology!

It's pretty cold at work today, and I started thinking how weird it would be if we got goosebumps on our face.

Ew.

The Wet Donkey lives!

So, i'm trying my hand at this blog stuff. I'm NOT a tech junkie, so i'm not sure how long i'll keep up with this. but we'll see.

I'll go ahead and credit the name to Donnie, whose last name escapes me right now. He dated my ex-roommate Maria freshman year of college, and during one night long game of Disorderly Conduct whispered the now famous romantic quote in spanish in her ear: "I want to mount you like a wet donkey".

Donnie, you are forever immortalized.
