I ♥ shoes

As I'm walking to my car after class, I step off the curb and feel something funny between my toes. The piece my sandal that goes between my big toe snapped! Sigh. What's a girl to do but go buy new ones?? She certainly can't go the whole day at work sliding out of her 10 year old Steve Maddens now, can she? No!! The mall wasn't open yet, sadly, and Wal-Mart, despite it's 1000 other great uses, has an unfortunate shoe collection. So I picked the next best, closest option. Target.

I love shopping for shoes. Shoes make me happy. No matter how fat you get, how much you blow your diet, how tight your pants fit, your shoes will always be there for you, with a perfect fit. They are the ultimate best friend.

Anyway, it's really hard to buy a pair of shoes to match what you're wearing at that moment. Luckily, I'm wearing black pants, which was a good thing, since the only shoes at Target were black! Hello!! Let's have some color, here! It's not a funeral for feet! Here's what I managed to grab:



Aren't they tasty??? They match for the most part. But work is definitely NOT a place where fashion is high on anyone's list. I even dare to say my measly outdated wardrobe is the most fashionable here. See?? It's that bad.

At least their pocket protectors are clear--those go with everything!
