OK. So here's my dilemma. When Sabahat quit, this new girl moved into her desk. We are in a quad cube, so I see her all day long, and hear her, which is more the problem. She has a MusicMatch subcription and plays her music really loud. Like, to the point where people across the hall, down the hall, and around the corner have come up to me and complained about how annoying it is. Sometimes it's pop stuff, but most of the time it is either jazzy music, or asian-inspired music. You know, high pitched bamboo flutes--stuff that sounds like what you would find in a Chinese massage parlour. The ones where you can get a "happy ending". You know what I'm talking about. It's at just the right--er...wrong--volume and pitch to drive you insane. She's been here awhile, but is not very chatty with us, almost to point of standoff-ish, so I'm not sure how to tell her without her getting completely bent out of shape. Right now I'm listening to Ike, Everybody Dance Now by C&C Music Factory (love old school dance!) pretty loud, and I can still tell she's listening to Sarah McLachlan.
Give me ideas people!!

When she's not there, liek early morning or after she's left, work on the sound control panel on her ocmputer. Heck, find someone who can take out the sound card.
Oh you poor thing! Is it worse that my "Mix means Variety"???
Just tell her if she doesn't mind turning it down a little bit...or better yet, just be like, "Damn girl, is someone having a party in here and I was not told???!!!" And laugh it off, hopefully your point will be taken :) Good luck!
I miss you :(
