Holy Hill

Today we went to Holy Hill, where supposedly you can see the fall colors best. It's the highest point in SE Wisconsin at 1300 ft. It really was beautiful. It's actually a church on a hill, still in operation and everything. In fact, there was a wedding going on. The weather was nice fall weather. Not too chilly, but perfectly brisk. Well, except for when we got to the top of the tower, where it was windy, and I wanted to die.

Here, have a look.

This is driving up to Holy Hill. Not a very impressive hill, if you ask me.

But look at the view from the top!!!

Check out that pimp house with it's own lake. Wonder who lives there. You could actually see downtown Milwaukee in the distance. Very cool.

See my pink scarf? Kinda? I just finished it last weekend! Hooray for scarf weather! On the way home we stopped alone the side of the road and bought apple cider (yuuuuummmmmm) and 3 little wee mini pumpkins. Just because they were cute. What a great fall day!

To top it all off, BYU finally won a game tonite! About time!! Personally, I think it's because I made a new recipe--"Touchdown Taco Dip". It was good luck! And pretty tasty. I also made a caramel apple dip and an apple berry salsa, which were very good as well. They went perfectly with the sweet tortilla crisps I made to go along with it. The artichoke pizza passed the test as well. Probably not the masculine football snacks to make....but oh well. I needed to practice!!

I'm exhausted. Crap--it's 2 AM!!! Where does the time go???
