I've had this here blog for almost exactly 3 years. I missed my blogiversary. It was last week. Boo. Anyway, for the past 3 years I have been the sole contributor. And to be honest...I kind of like it that way.
For awhile now, Derrick's hide has been slightly chapped that my blog is linked on others' as "Karen's blog" or "Karen Callister" or "Wet Donkey" or what have you, and his poor little name gets nary a mention. But does it deserve a mention? I say you get a shout out if you contribute to the blog. He claims I appear to be single without his name attached to mine. Whatever! Raise your hand if you think I'm single. Hmmm....no hands. It's not like I don't mention him at all. Anyway, if your blog has both of our names, he likes you. If not, he doesn't. Silly boy.
But really. Do I want my blog to consist only of stories about a football player who committed to BYU only to flake out and play somewhere else where they might actually have a chance at a championship? Or how a BYU player got in a fight and now is suspended right before the BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR?? Or how a BYU football player got a great deal on trash bags at Macy's in Provo? Don't laugh. He somehow knows these things. He will have never talked to him before, but he will know where he grew up, went to high school, how many siblings he has, what his major is, and his shoe size. It's true.
In summary. I don't care if you change the listing. Am I a selfish donkey for not sharing my blog? Should I offer a one-time guest appearance? Thing is, he's a really good writer. I think I'm just scared you'll like him better than me.

i actually added his name yesterday BEFORE you wrote this (for real) :) he should have his own blog...Jim does but he only has 1 or 2 posts. pretty lame.
Derrick's name is listed on my links, and it always was. My blog is called "The Lewis Family" but Jon has absolutely nothing to do with it....I agree with you...
For the record...we've always had a special place for Derrick in our hearts and therefor has always been on our links, however, it is Karen & Derrick, and not the other way around. I do recognize you as the only contributor and as such you will remain first listed!

If Derrick starts his own blog, the man will write like 1 post ever. He may be a good writer, but you are funny. Most sentences I start off regarding you or your blog are, "Isn't Karen so funny? Did you read her blog?"
You could graciously add him as a contributer and just know full well he will rarely write. If he wants to talk about sports, ask Scott to let him be a contributor on his blog!
I have to agree with the others. You are the funniest blogger..I look forward to reading it everyday. If Derrick wants cred then he's going to have to put on his funny pants and knock our socks off like you do :) JK...Spencer doesn't write on ours...If it did it would look a lot like yours would....Jazz and BYU...that's it. While I like those teams a lot I can mention them in my own way and time.
I have full confidence that Derrick can be quite funny...he's just going to have to prove it to earn his name next to yours on my link:) I feel like a total brat now.
Derricks name has not and will not be associated to the link on our blog... and he should be grateful. Erica gets upset that all I blog about is sports.
For the record, the useless BYU knowledge Derrick has is pretty much the foundation of the friendship between Derrick, Jason, and myself. So you should thank the Almighty that he knows that crap or gomusic.ru never would have come into your life.
