Really. What did we do to deserve this?

It's colder now than I've ever felt it here. Currently it's -27 with the windchill. MINUS, folks. Lots of schools are cancelled today because it's so cold. The other night we had dinner with friends, and my car, who usually stays toasty in my garage, was outside for about 4 hours. When we left, it was literally an icebox. I wasn't sure it would even start it was soooo sluggish. The gearshift was frozen. The LCD displays were frozen. It took about 20 minutes for the inside of the car to get reasonably warm. You could still see your breath inside the car. Running errands on Saturday my face would freeze. My eyeballs would freeze. Seriously, in my head, they felt like they were freezing. What a joke. WHAT AM I DOING HERE??? HONESTLY!! THIS IS NOT MY LIFE!! I keep waiting to wake up and find myself on the beach in Florida. No such luck.

Luckily for me, I don't have class today, and no real reason to go outside until later when we go to the gym.

Is anyone else besides me extremely disappointed by the Superbowl last night? And by Superbowl, I mean commercials. I wanted the Colts to win, so hooray for them. But the quality of commericals was soooo lame. Tons of local commercials...what's up with that? I don't watch the Superbowl to see old Menard's commercials. There were no Pepsi ads, what's up with that? There were a few Budlight ads that were funny, but that's it!!! Bor-ring.

So Thursday was my first night at the hospital where I had my very own patient. And I didn't kill her! It helped that she was extremely stable and I only had to give one med. I liked it a lot though. I think I'll learn tons this semester.

Well, I should go and get some homework done. It has already piled up. Lots of projects due this semester. They all seem like a waste of time, but whatever.

Stay warm wherever you are!

Wow--your windchill is a whole ten degrees WARMER than mine! Not fair!

I took the garbage out this morning, in clogs, and in FOUR minutes my ankles were frozen!

And I'm very glad to hear you didn't kill your patient! (AS IF!!!)
