We had our 5th Annual Easter: Dinner and Tournament, as per the usual. I can't believe it's the 5th one we've done here! We had TONS of food, which was all sooo delicious, and we all had a great time. Our numbers have more than doubled since the inaugural one back in 2005, so it makes for a cozy and crazy event. I wish more than anything that we had a big old house so we could invite everybody we know. One day, one day...
Mike and Jessica were the reigning egg toss champs for two years running. They attempted a three-peat, but they were ultimately overcome by dark horses Cole and Ruth, with a bum arm and a bun in the oven, respectively. As winners, they received the coveted Carrot Baseball.
All in all, we had a great Easter. We are very blessed to be able to spend it with friends who are dear to our hearts, and who believe the exact same that we do: that Christ is our Savior and that through Him we can be forgiven of our sins and shortcomings. There is not a day that goes by that we aren't in awe of the blessings we've received because of Him, and even though we are far from perfect, we continue to try to do better each day in hopes of returning to live with Him again.
We hope you had a great Easter!

These "suckas" will be practicing extra hard for next year, watch out!
Your fam pictures are so cute. Jake came home from church raving about how adorable Summer is! So true!
I told Casey to quit lurking in the corners so you'd want to take pictures of us but alas I couldn't get him to move. Maybe next year. Thanks again for the amazing Easter festivities.
Without the belly next year (I hope not!)and the bad arm as our good luck charms hopefully we'll still be able to defend our title! Thanks Karen for the Easter party. Everything looked amazing.
What a beautiful family! How sweet of you to throw such a fun event for all of adopted family!
