Well, our trip started out a little shaky. We get to the airport, check in, everything A-Ok so far. We walk to our gate, pass the monitors on the way and our flight is on time. Yay! We walk BACK to grab some dinner, and the monitor now says DELAYED!!! What??? In 30 seconds?? The good thing is that it was only delayed 25 minutes. Now, everytime we fly, we get pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut. I mean, Pizza Hut=Vacation to us. Well, they are renovating, and Pizza Hut is GONE. In its place is Uno, which I was happy to see, as I have had their pizza in the past. So, we grab a pepperoni. NASTY. I could barely swallow it. So disappointing. My fabulous trip is getting a rough start.
But we made it, and hopped on a bus, and then a subway, and then walked to our hotel. And now we're here! Everyone has been super nice to us. Especially helping us with our huge suitcases on the bus and through the turnstyles. Whoever said New Yorkers were unfriendly must have been here on a bad day.
This is us in the middle of Times Square, you can kinda see our luggage at the bottom. I was just taking a pic of Derrick, and some guy offered to take one with both of us. See?? Nice!!
Gotta love free wireless at the ole' Holiday Inn Express. I'm sure I'll be keeping you posted with our weekends events!

Wow--he took a pic and didn't RUN AWAY with the camera??? Luck is definitely on your side!
You gotta love NYC--the only place where you fit a mugging into your monthly budget...
