Picture Post

Here are some pictures from our trip, in case you didn't get the Ofoto pics.

First up, we have my two new nieces. Jessica on the left, Abby on the right. Both about the same age. Too cute!

Here are the pictures from Hollywood, after we saw Santa Clause 3 at El Capitan Theater.

This is one of my favorite shots. It could totally be a postcard, right???

My MIL goes all out for Christmas. Here is just one example of the extravaganza that is Christmastime at the Callister Home. A lifesize Nativity scene. It blows down every night b/c of the Santa Ana winds and every morning has to be picked up.

This was taken in the grocery store. I love it. For some reason it cracks me up. (It's Derrick, in case you couldn't tell)

Saturday we went down to Oragne County to the Swap Meet (awesome) and stopped by the new Newport Beach Temple. Very pretty, very spanish inspired.

I wish this picture was brighter, but it was getting dark very quickly after the Price is Right taping. I tried to lighten it, but it didn't work so hot. Anyway, Kathleen is the one next to Derrick, the one who won. Can you see our pimp shirts?

So there you have it. Our trip in a nutshell.

Today I went to work for an hour, felt sick, threw up, then came home. Then slept, and slept, and slept. I don't know what was wrong. I'm feeling much better now, just a headache that won't go away. Derrick is at a Bucks game tonite so I'm watching Down With Love, which I bought at Wal-Mart yesterday for ridiculously cheap, along with Rat Race, Three Amigos, and The Muppets Take Manhattan. I figure it's cheaper than renting them, and it'll give me something to do when Derrick leaves me for NYC next week. ALL week.

Time to go find some ice cream....

I really liked "Down with Love." It has such a fun twist! (Of course adoring Ewan MacGregor helps!)
Hope you feel better. My hubby is getting ready for a six-day trip to NYC, and I am going to watch movies EVERY night! I stocked up at WalMart.

ps, GREAT pics!
