Gripes

I am having a really really really really really hard time getting into this last semester. I cannot focus. I don't want to do anything. To make it worse, all the work we have to do in every class is group work. I'd rather chew my own hand off than do group work. Seriously. To top things off even more, my clinical group of EIGHT is doing a project and nobody has any idea really what it's about. Then there's the fact that everyone is such a great "leader" that they all bite each others heads off all day. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. And me? I just sit there and watch the drama unfold. I could really care less who types up the damn report, or who gets to use their article, or blah blah blah. I put in my two cents when I need to, I do what I'm asked, I contribute, but only for the sake of getting the heck out of there. It drives me nuts. I mean, I wouldn't be so against group projects if they had a purpose. But really, they don't. Not at UWM. Their curriculum says we need a group project, and even if that group project means we all sit around and discuss our latest poops, they make us do it. It's so pointless. Graduation is not coming fast enough for me.

I'm starving. But the leftovers congealing in the fridge do NOT look appetizing to me. Combine that with the fact that Derrick is being taken to Mr. B's tonite, and that just makes me even hungrier for yummier food. What I'm really craving is the chopped salad from The Cheesecake Factory. Yummmmm. But going alone would be lame-o. Although I am planning on going to see a movie tonite by myself, so I should just consider it a date with myself and go all out. Hey, someone's gotta do it, right?

In case you didn't know, today is Talk Like a Pirate Day, matey. I'll share a pirate joke in honor of this blessed day, courtesty of Chris, who has many more pirate-y jokes for your swashbuckling pleasure.

Q: Do you know where my buccaneers are??
A: On the side of my buccan-head!

ZING!

That's funny--Thing Three told me this one yesterday:

Q: Why couldn't the Pirate watch the movie?

A: Because it was Rated "ARRRGHH!!!"
