At the end of September Derrick’s brother David and his wife Tiffany and kids Mackenzie and Reed came to visit. We love visitors! They brought some beautiful weather with them…sunny and in the 70’s, and as you can tell from the pictures, these thin blooded folk from Phoenix thought it was freezing in their turtlenecks and jeans, while my kids ran around in shorts and t-shirts. Hilarious. It didn’t take long for the girls to warm up to each other and get right to playing and destroying the house. Reed was happy to just wander and play with anything he found that remotely resembled a truck, car, or plane.
We went to the zoo, visited the Clock Shadow Creamery and got some delicious cheese and ice cream, took a trip to the Jelly Belly Factory and went to an apple orchard. We had a blast. These last couple of pictures are from the Clock Shadow building. We went the weekend before during Milwaukee’s Open Door weekend, where you can tour different buildings for free around town. They had a photo contest so I submitted these two. No idea if I won anything or not. Probably not, but it was still fun.
We are so glad they came to visit us! I love that my girls are getting to know their cousins!
