Note to self, and other bakers:

While they may sound alike, and look alike, baking soda and baking powder may not, in fact, be used interchangeably. Especially when making adorable sugar cookies.

That's what I get for talking on the phone and baking at the same time. I blame you, Linda.

Had you asked me about it while talking to me, I would have told you that:). I did it before in a huge batch of cornbread for a ward cookoff. Not great.

teaspoon and tablespoon are also different i've noticed:)

that is hilarious ..... can't say i've made that mistake (as i do zero baking), but GOOD TO KNOW! :)
